I am a Ph.D. student at Harvard’s Department of Government, and an affiliate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS). I am also a Ph.D. fellow at the Stone Program in Wealth Distribution, Inequality, and Social Policy through the Harvard Kennedy School.

I study comparative political economy and political development, with a particular focus on colonialism and historical state-building in Europe and the Middle East. Before starting graduate school, I worked as a researcher for the University of Chicago’s Law and Economics group and with the UN's Department of Peace Operation's Rule of Law group. I earned a Bachelor’s with honors in Political Science as well as a minor in Mathematical and Computational Sciences at Stanford University.
